Busker Buddies is a map-based App in which you can see all the busking and in-venue performances going on around you. And for Buskers, how about being able to schedule performance, getting tips via the App, and people getting to know what you do and where are you performing.
Live and upcoming performances show up on a map in green & blue pins. Clicking on a pin shows a panel that has performer’s basic info and buttons to Tip the performer.
Search for a Performer or Performance by area, performance types, etc. Then, find a show of your interest that fits your time and driving range.
Set up a schedule for performance so that people can come to you to view your show.
Learn more about your favourite performers. View their images, videos or contact them via the App for a private performance.
Give a Tip to a performer via the App. It is fast, secure, and the history of all transactions is available within the App. And if you are a performer, hey, no more dependence on people carrying cash!
Get notified if your favourite performer is performing in your area. Or whenever your favourite performer schedules the next event.
As an audience member, you will have access to the map that shows performances going around you, where you can see clickable pins of the performers. Via the pin, you will be able to view a performer’s complete profile and upcoming schedule. You will also have access to notifications, notification settings, and account settings. In addition, you will have a rechargeable wallet via which you can pay a tip. As you know, credit card companies charge a fee on each credit card transaction, so we have set up a wallet, which you can recharge once and then give Tips from it. It gives maximum benefit to the beneficiary.
A performer would see all the sections visible to an Audience member plus all the features that a performer would need. As a performer, you will have admin-level access to your profile, in which you can share your images, videos, description, etc. In addition, you will be able to create a schedule that will show as a Live Pin (green colored) when the schedule becomes current. Or, there is a “Start Playing” section with the “Show Me Live Now” button. Just go live! And we have created many ways for you to get Tip. People who have the App will be able to give a Tip through it. And if you display the personal QR code that we have provided to you within the App (take printout), viewers with or without our App will be able to scan the QR code and give Tip. And finally, are you open to be contacted via the App? Because we have set up a secure way for you to be contacted if you want it.
